Estimating corn
This morning my group and I had to estimate and find the actual of a cob. Mrs Ramkalawan gave each group a piece of corn. She told us to estimate how much husk there was on the piece of corn that Mrs Ramkalawan gave us. My group and I agreed that the number of husk was 8. Then we had to find the actual of the husk. We started to gently tear each husk off the cob. The actual we got was 8. I was happy that our group were good at estimation. Then we had to estimate the silk and then find actual. After that we had to count the kernels on the corn. I had a very great time working the estimation of the cob and finding out the actual of the cob.
