WALT: understand/find 2 meanings to puns
(Eyes by me) That's what Mr Hendricks would usually say. Some students may always think of that in a different way. He would not mean take out your eyeballs and stick them on him. He ment focus on him. That is what we call a pun/play with word/laughing at words.
(Eyes on the ball) My teacher (Mrs Ramkalawan) would often say when we are paying sports. Most of the children would think put your face right next to it. That is very dangerous you might even hit yourself in the face.
