Science - Tamaki College

Today me and the year 8's were lucky enough to learn  a lot about science and static electricity. The examples that were used are rubbing a piece of cloth against plastic and put it near water and the water will move in the air. The other example was touching a electrostatic generator and your hair will slowly move the opposite way of the electrostatic generator. The last example he showed us was the metal tin went flying in the air when it touched the electrostatic generator.

Burgers and fries

 Today my tech and I were lucky enough to make fries and a burger. The choice was made by every school that does the cooking class. Making the burger was very difficult but, the fries was very easy. After making the burger we did all the cleaning. We made many mistakes but, overall I enjoyed making it. Now I know I could make it for my family.

Meat pie filling

Today my tech class and I were lucky enough to make a mince pie filling and followed by the filling has to be the pastry. I really enjoyed dicing the onions and mince. The main thing hat I enjoyed was the mixing. I wish I could really do it again.
